It was with great pleasure that members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs in Douala met their guests on June 2nd, bringing together 50 people for dinner in the illustrious Akwa Palace hotel, a historic venue where Cameroon’s first Bailliage was established.

The enchanting décor designed by Céline Koloko Sohaing, Dame de la Chaîne, formed the perfect backdrop for a delicious dinner worthy of a New Year’s Eve celebration and accompanied by some extraordinary wines and the beautiful melodies of the orchestra.

beetroot purée, apple chutney

Baked rolled sole
pumpkin purée, tomato confit
diced fennel, caper and lemon sauce

Roasted duck breast
with braised spinach
mashed potatoes

Strawberry cheesecake
vanilla ice cream, golden chocolate dome
basil cream, pistachio crumble

The dinner was honoured by the presence of Bailli Délégué Chloé Balanos and Chevaliers Etame Massoma and Edimo Pierre, from the Bailliage of Yaoundé.
