After a forced COVID-19 break since February 2020 the Bailliage of Istanbul organised its first face-to-face event, a Chardonnay tasting at Şans Restaurant on Tuesday July 13th.

Thirty-three participants gathered to taste (and drink!) 11 Chardonnay wines from the following Turkish vineyards:

- 7 Bilgeler
- Barrel
- Büyülübağ
- Doluca
- Kavaklidere
- Kayra
- Prodom
- Sevilen
- Urla
- Yazgan

After the tasting there was the opportunity to stay and enjoy an à la carte dinner, where the Chardonnay wines were served as well.

It was great to meet with our friends again not having seen them for such a long time.
