Chef Fabrizio Facchini, Maître Rôtisseur, is Brand Ambassador for the prestigious Italian truffle company, Urbani Tartufi, through which he shares his love and passion of truffles.
The story of Urbani Truffles started with its founder Constantine Urbani in 1852. Constantine began exporting fresh truffles from Italy to France ultimately creating the Urbani business that has been growing ever since. Exports expanded to Germany, Switzerland, and other regions of Italy.
Today, Urbani combines technological innovation and traditions in a flourishing, family-run business. The sixth generation is diligently running the well-established business with expansion in the international market.
Being Brand Ambassador for Urbani is a small part of Fabrizio’s career and entrepreneurial portfolio which includes four other businesses. He and his wife Samira are chefs/owners of a boutique hotel and restaurant, Antico Borgo. It’s been in Arcevia, in Italy’s Marche region since 2009. The Michelin Italy Guide has been publishing and recognizing this establishment since 2012.
Chef Fabrizio is also a serial founder of restaurants with different concepts. Firstly, in San Diego, where he founded Clandestino & Facchini’s; followed by Taverna Novo in 2017 in Saratoga Springs in upstate New York; Memoria in New York City was also opened.
Today, at the new Renaissance Hotel in Chelsea New York, Fabrizio is Executive Chef of Cotto, which has a bold twist on authentic Italian cuisine as well as The Cardinal Room and Somewhere Nowhere Lounge and Rooftop Pool.
Fabrizio is also Co-owner and Executive Chef of Stellina Hospitality Group consisting of:
- Stellina Ristorante in Oyster Bay New York
- Stellina Bakery and Café at Oyster Bay
- Stellina Bakery and Café at Syosset
- Casa Stellina in Farmingdale New York opened in January
- Cardinali Bakery at Syosset
- Cardinali Italian Market at Syosset
- Cardinali Italian Market and Bakery at Oyster Bay
Last but not least Fabrizio also carries the brand La Dolce Vita Catering and Bar.
Maître Rôtisseur Fabrizio hosted the Bailliage of New York at the world famous Urbani Truffle Lab in New York City to reveal and revere the mystique of the White Alba truffle. Dinner was prepared in the state-of-the-art test kitchen.
