Weekend for the Bailliages of Saxony and Thuringia
As an example of the delights the establishment brings to its guests, Bailli Günter Anton recalled, “Given that the hotel is on the border between the two States, it was the perfect location to celebrate World Chaîne Day (WCD) 2024. On the eve of WCD Chef Otremba led the group in a very charming and entertaining way. Cooking together was great fun. The home-made menu was excellent.

Saturday was available for relaxing in the hotel’s large spa area. In between, there was a sweet trip to the chocolate factory right next to the hotel. We learned a lot of interesting things about chocolate production and had to hold back a lot when looking at the evening dinner while trying the many types of chocolate.

The team around Andreas Barth and Ronny Otremba spoiled us with excellent cooking and attentive service.”
