The Bailliage under Ada’s leadership
Ada reported, “These past few months the National Council has been actively engaged in promoting the culinary arts and fostering a vibrant community for the Macau members. We have made great strides in strengthening our ties with other National Bailliages in Asia and have actively participated in various overseas events. These interactions have not only enriched our understanding of global culinary traditions but also have allowed us to showcase the unique flavours and talents of our region.”

She added, “We have been working closely with China and Hong Kong SAR China to explore synergies and privileges that benefit our members. Looking ahead, we have a lineup of exciting events and activities planned for the upcoming months from an exclusive Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OMGD) dinner, a themed dinner and then a Chapitre in November.”

Ada continued, “In addition, we are delighted that the Consul General of France and Trade Commissioner in Hong Kong and Macau was very pleased with our last event celebrating Bastille Day (the French National Day on July 14th). He has arranged to meet and discuss future support. At the same time, the Macau Government Tourism Office has noted our activities as having a positive effect on Macau’s culture.

Understandably delighted, Ada concluded enthusiastically, “All this has built trust which is attracting new potential Professionals as well former members to reinstate their membership with us.”
