The local Bailliage of Oslo was delighted to invite members and guests to a very special Induction Dinner at Festningen Restaurant.

Thirty-eight members and 14 guests enjoyed an unforgettable summer evening in historic surroundings, with magnificent views over central Oslo and the inner Oslofjord.

During the apéritif, a distinguished group of new members was inducted into the Chaîne. Bailli Délégué Thore Sande, who is a Member of the Conseils d’Administration and Magistral, and Argentier Paal Bye-Johansen had travelled from Sandefjord to conduct the formal Induction Ceremony alongside our Bailli Toril Flåskjer.

The weather was on our side, and Maître Rôtisseur Jenny Björklund - who also received her Chaîne ribbon that evening - looked after us superbly together with her excellent colleagues from the Furset Group.

Following the outdoor apéritif and Induction Ceremony, everyone moved into the restaurant, where the kitchen and service brigades were ready to provide us with a memorable evening and an excellent dinner.

At the conclusion of the dinner, Vice-Conseiller Gastronomique Bjørn Aksel Sund proposed the vote of thanks to the kitchen and service brigades. Dame de la Chaîne Gro Elisabeth Sille then delighted everyone with a musical performance, captivating us with her beautiful voice and warm stage presence.
