Our Bailliage celebrated World Chaîne Day with a sparkling note on Sunday, April 24th.
Échanson Yvo Erades was accompanied this time by an “imported” Champagne Chevalier, Roberto Della Pietra.
Both took our members and their guests on a boat trip through the Binnenmaas where we all explored six Champagne houses from which they had chosen very distinctive wines - from zero dosage to start the afternoon on deck, to magnums of rosé to conclude the trip.
The programme included a Blanc de Blancs, a Blanc de Noir, two Bruts, a Non-vintage that tastes like a Vintage and a beautiful Rosé. Each one was paired with appropriate hors d'oeuvres.
