Belgium Dinner

Bailliage of Belgium
Knokke-Heist, December 17, 2022

The Bailliage goes Great Gatsby
" Chevalier Beat Kocherhans .. expressed appreciation of the wonderful work showcased by the young, talented people demonstrating the art of the table and gastronomy "

The Chaîne year 2022 ended in style in Belgium!

The accommodation, restaurant and catering students at our partner school Vives organised a real “The Chaîne goes Gatsby”. Hotel Ter Zaele was operated entirely by the first and second year Loreca students.

Head of Training An Winnepenninckx, who is a Maître Hôtelier, Chevalier Henri Decubber and new Chaîne member Maître Hôtelier Baptiste Vansteenkiste supervised the project.

Two students formed the management team in the following roles: General Manager Sean Vandoorne with Food and Beverage Manager Kiara Pyck. They are going to be joining the Chaîne with their young talent.

Members and their guests were pampered at the reception with Champagne Jeeper Blanc des Blancs or artfully made Dry Martinis.

Chevalier Beat Kocherhans, who is soon to be our Chargé de Missions with responsibility for events, evaluated the evening and expressed appreciation of the wonderful work showcased by the young, talented people demonstrating the art of the table and gastronomy.

Of course, the evening ended with the basic Charleston steps as in the 1920s.
