Phuket's finale for 2022
" We enjoyed meeting old and new friends before lunch was served "
As in the previous year, for our 2022 festive finale we went to the Boathouse Phuket, by the sea at Kata Beach, where we had a record attendance of 48 members and their guests.
On arrival at the beautifully decorated restaurant a glass of perfectly chilled Champagne, perfect in the warm weather, with canapés welcomed us. Many had dressed up in Christmas inspired attire creating a festive feeling. We enjoyed meeting old and new friends before lunch was served.

After five excellent courses we were too full to really enjoy the special Christmas treats with coffee or tea. One or two pieces tempted us which was enough. Fortunately, as a surprise we were given the same treats to take home.
We concluded the event by thanking Executive Chef Jonathan Bruell, who is a Vice-Conseiller Culinaire Honoraire member of the Bailliage, and his team for a perfect lunch.
