Members came with their hearts and spirits to share the camaraderie of celebrating World Chaîne Day (WCD) together with worldwide members on April 22nd.
This year’s dinner was held at Chargé de Missions Dicken Wong’s Michelin recommended Golden Bauhinia Sang Kee Restaurant.
New on the scene, with magnificent views overlooking Victoria Harbour, it inherits over 45 years of family history featuring a vibrant food culture of traditional Cantonese cuisine.
Enjoyed by over 70 members and guests, among the dishes served were:

Scallop dumplings and morel in supreme soup
Pan fried red king prawn with steamed pomelo peel
Steamed tiger grouper fillet
Signature flambee lung kong chicken
Pork and vegetable wontons wrapped in bean curd sheet
Black glutinous rice and crabmeat in lotus leaf
Continuing our World Chaîne Day features was a talented ensemble serenading us with melodies of the heart. Diners were also delighted to be entertained by a magician symbolising “The Magic of Chaîne”.
