Although the World Association celebrated this year's Chaîne Day with an emphasis on charity, we took our own path and put special emphasis on sustainability.

The amount of discarded raw materials and food is certainly worrying enough that more and more caterers are focusing on sustainable, waste-free cuisine.

Our theme was “world without meat” for a lunch at Dvor Jezeršek. Accordingly, the restaurant prepared a special, completely meat-free menu for us.

The range of vegetarian and vegan dishes impressed from the first to the last, although most of those present are still to get used to more frequent meatless meals. Above all, it is important that it has been proved once again that even meatless food offers an abundance of creative, tasty and imaginative plates.

We concluded that the apparent monotony of the usual vegetarian and vegan offerings outside of high-end or specialized eateries is completely unjustified.
