[Ed. The Red cliff is an approximately 30-metre-high cliff between the towns of Wenningstedt and Kampen on the North Sea Island of Sylt.]

The uniqueness of the location, amidst the majestic landscape and the breathtaking view of the North Sea, the dunes, the Quermarkenfeuer [Ed. English: octagonal cross-marking navigation light] and the Wadden Sea, the largest unbroken system of intertidal sand and mud flats in the world, makes the Sturmhaube a true gem of the island.

Maître Restaurateur Felix Knochenhauer is the Chaîne member at the establishment. Under the culinary direction of Chef Markus Gerlach, every dish at the Sturmhaube becomes an experience. His creations enchant guests and allow them to savour the diversity and sophistication of north German cuisine.

Another highlight of the Sturmhaube is the sunsets, especially on warm summer evenings on the terrace, turning into unforgettable memories. Where else could you better leave the everyday behind and simply enjoy the moment?

However, the Sturmhaube offers more than just good food and a dreamlike view. The overall arrangement of the establishment includes a restaurant with a large terrace, a playground, a kiosk for beach food to go, six guest rooms, an event space and a brewery in the basement where, currently, four varieties of the original Sylter Sturmbräus are brewed.
