" a wonderful opportunity for all the young chefs in South Africa who are employed at Chaîne Pro-member establishments "
For the first time since 2018, the Bailliage of South Africa under the leadership of Bailli Délégué Llewllyn Buckley-Marais is intending to participate in the 2025 International Final of the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition.
Local Bailliage finals of the competition are being arranged for October 17th around the country.
Accordingly, the National Bailliage is calling all young South African chefs, who meet the participation requirements, to grasp this chance to shine and take their culinary journey to the next level.
The National competition will be held in March 2025, comprising the winners from all five local Bailliage finals.
The Winner will be signed up for programmes and workshops to enable him/her to have the skills necessary to take part in the 2025 International Final on an all-expenses trip of a lifetime to proudly represent the Bailliage of South Africa. The Runner-up will also have the opportunity to participate in these programmes and workshops in case the Winner is unable to travel.
Bailli Délégué Llewllyn Buckley-Marais said, “This is a wonderful opportunity for all the young chefs of South Africa who are employed at Chaîne Pro-member establishments.”
He continued, “Those who are interested in testing their culinary skills against their peers should, in the first instance, contact their local Bailliage.” [Ed. details as below]
