Fabrizio Frías, Bailli of Los Cabos, is a name that strongly resonates in the world of gastronomy and hospitality.
With a remarkable 30-year career dedicated to service and innovation, Fabrizio has established himself as a visionary leader, tireless innovator, and passionate advocate for culinary excellence. His unwavering commitment to quality and creating memorable dining experiences has propelled him to significant milestones, including his valued participation in the Chaîne.
Fabrizio’s journey in the service industry began in Cancún in the 1990s honing his skills in restaurants, bars and nightclubs. His tenure at renowned establishments such as Hard Rock Café and Grupo Anderson’s with involvement in public relations for iconic nightclubs like La Boom, Cristine and Alebrije, gave a comprehensive understanding of the entertainment and hospitality sectors.
Transitioning into the hotel industry marked a pivotal moment in his career. Mentored by Michel Beuffe at Mayan Palace Nuevo Vallarta, Fabrizio gained invaluable expertise in Food and Beverage. Experience at the Four Seasons Mexico City and leading the opening of a 4-diamond hotel in Puerto Vallarta with Villagroup cemented his reputation as a top-tier professional.
In 2010, driven by entrepreneurial spirit, he founded Fabri-k de Restaurantes through which he has developed successful gastronomic concepts, including the Italian restaurant Escudería Ferrari and the gourmet taco brand Santa Marea.
Fabrizio’s association with the Chaîne reflects a deep passion for gastronomy and commitment to preserving culinary traditions. Invited by his godfather Salvador de Aguinaga and Bailli Don Héctor Pérez, Fabrizio joined in 2007, being inducted by Jean Berthelot, the founder of the Bailliage of Mexico.
Fabrizio’s “career path” in the Chaine reads:
- joined as a Maître Restaurateur in 2007
- promoted to Chargé de Presse in 2015, standing down in 2017
- in 2021 co-founded Bailliage of Baja Norte (Tijuana-Ensenada-Valle de Guadalupe) as Vice-Échanson
- established the Bailliage of Los Cabos in 2024 for which he was inducted as Bailli in Versailles, France, by President Yam Atallah.
