Fellow members, dear friends around the world

I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits.

As many of you know, the Bailliage National of Vietnam is still very young, having been established in 2018. The pandemic, followed by leadership challenges, slowed our progress and limited our ability to flourish. One of my greatest priorities, as newly appointed Bailli Délégué, is to showcase the grandeur and heritage of our esteemed organization. Especially in a country where many have yet to experience the magic of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs and its prestigious global community.

Over the past year, we have worked diligently to curate high-quality events that leave a lasting impression and create memorable experiences for our guests. Slowly but surely, we are building a loyal following and sparking renewed interest in our Bailliage. I am proud to say that, with our growing membership, we now have the strength and excitement to host a Grand Chapitre in March 2026. It will be held in the beautiful coastal city of Da Nang, often called “the Miami of Vietnam”.

We are still in the planning stages. However I can promise you an attractive and truly distinctive programme.

Highlights we are working on
- Visit to Streets International, a culinary and hospitality training institute dedicated to empowering young adults from underprivileged backgrounds. Guests may have the chance to witness their inspiring work led by our member Maître Restaurateur Neal Bermas. And even participate in a cooking class!

- Tour of Sampan Rum Distillery, a charming distillery set in a small village on the shores near Hội An ancient town, where guests will see the distillation process and sample award-winning rum made from organically grown sugar cane.

- Gastronomic Experiences at some of the region’s most celebrated restaurants, featuring the best of central Vietnam’s culinary scene.

- Induction Ceremony for both Chaîne and Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OMGD). Hosted right on the beach with the sunset as our backdrop, breaking tradition to create an unforgettable setting.

- Golf tournament at Hoiana Shores, ranked amongst Asia’s top courses.

- Tourist excursions and countless opportunities to explore Da Nang and the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hội An.
