Winning bidders celebrated their successful acquisitions during the Chaîne’s charity fundraising auction for the ACCR (Association Caritative de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs), which raised €12,000 in support of ACCR’s initiative.

As part of the ACCR’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its fundraising capabilities and expand support for future educational and professional development initiatives, ACCR Chair Betty Sasenick, who is a Member of the Conseil Magistral, led and organized a fundraising auction during the International Grand Chapitre Gala Induction Evening on June 13th at Château La Coste in the Provence hills.

Through the generosity of distinguished international partners and the enthusiastic participation of members, the auction successfully raised €12,000 in support of the ACCR’s mission.

Featured auction lots included a special Camus Cognac Family Tribute Edition, a collection of three bottles of Bruno Paillard Champagne Special Cuvée, and an eight-day luxury Danube River Cruise aboard Riviera Travel’s MS William Wordsworth, generously donated by Atlantis International Travel. The ACCR extends its sincere appreciation for their contributions, as well as to all members whose participation and spirited bidding supported the auction.

The auction generated strong interest from members both attending the event and participating remotely. Demonstrating the global reach of the Chaîne community, the Danube River Cruise was ultimately secured through an absentee bid submitted from abroad.

Led by ACCR Chair Betty Sasenick, the initiative brought together valued partners and supporters whose generosity helped make the event a success.

We would also like to thank our spotters, Bertrand de Boutray, Ilse Duponcheel, Yves Leon, and Tony Catanese - whose assistance helped ensure the smooth conduct of the auction.

Funds raised through this initiative will help advance ACCR’s mission of preserving and promoting the traditions of gastronomy and hospitality through scholarships, apprenticeships, mentorship opportunities, and educational programmes that prepare future generations of culinary and hospitality professionals.

This successful auction reflects the commitment of Chaîne members worldwide to invest in the future generations while preserving the values and traditions that unite us.
