At the newly opened Conrad Athens 'The Ilisian'
" The dinner featured an exceptional five-course gastronomic menu, with each course paired with carefully selected wines "
The National Bailliage successfully organized an exceptional gastronomic dinner on June 17th at the Conrad Athens The Ilisian (formerly the Athens Hilton).
Originally opened in 1963 as the iconic Athens Hilton, the hotel quickly became one of the most prestigious landmarks in Athens. Following extensive renovation, the property has been transformed into the new Conrad Athens, marking a new era of luxury hospitality while preserving its historic significance.
The building re-opened on April 23, 2026, as The Ilisian. The lower levels contain the Conrad Athens The Ilisian hotel, part of Hilton's luxury Conrad Hotels division. The hotel portion was reduced from 506 rooms to 278 rooms. The top floors of the building have been converted to luxury residences, 18 under the “Conrad Residences” brand and 37 under the “Waldorf Astoria Residences” brand.
The dinner featured an exceptional five-course gastronomic menu, with each course paired with carefully selected wines, enhancing the flavours and elevating the overall dining experience.
The evening was accompanied by a live violin and piano duo, creating an elegant and refined atmosphere.
