One of the Rhône Valley's most iconic wine families

" For the 2026 International Grand Chapitre in Aix-en-Provence the Chaîne was honoured to partner with Famille Perrin "

For the 2026 International Grand Chapitre in Aix-en-Provence the Chaîne was honoured to partner with Famille Perrin, one of the Rhône Valley’s most iconic wine families.

From the legendary Château de Beaucastel to Miraval, Famille Perrin has spent more than a century crafting exceptional wines while remaining deeply committed to family values, terroir, and innovation.

Pioneers of organic and biodynamic viticulture, their philosophy of excellence and authenticity resonates naturally with the spirit of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

Throughout the Grand Chapitre, members and their guests had the pleasure of discovering and tasting a selection of the exceptional “Perrin” wines, thoughtfully paired with the gastronomic experiences which awaited everyone in Provence. Raising a glass together under the Provençal sun was the ultimate pleasure during the three-day programme.

It is no coincidence that Famille Perrin is the leading organic wine grower of the southern Rhône Valley where they occupy the region’s best terroirs. Their values have given them a worldwide reputation for excellence: absolute respect for the soil, a commitment to manual methods and a deep belief that organic viticulture is the only way to express the true essence of the terroir. Moreover, the combination of talents within the family ensures the continuation of their unique expertise. Nature and tradition are key to the Famille Perrin way and this approach has continued seamlessly over five generations.

There are seven principal brands marketed by Famille Perrin, here we explore each one culminating in their premium “product”: the Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Château de Beaucastel, especially the red but also produced in a much appreciated white.

La Vieille Ferme and La Vielle Ferme Sparkling
La Vieille Ferme has been popular with wine lovers for over 40 years. Produced in a peaceful and sunny region of the southern Rhône, each colour is an expression of its terroir: the Ventoux brings elegance and structure to the red wines; the altitude of the Luberon brings freshness and finesse to the whites and rosés. La Vieille Ferme is made with great care. Top wine critics around the world have praised the producers of this wine for its irreproachable quality, which has achieved international recognition. La Vieille Ferme is ideal for an enjoyable moment with friends and is a faultless food pairing.

La Plume de La Vieille Ferme
La Plume de La Vieille Ferme is a straightforward wine, balanced, silky and indulgent, but with only 9.5% alcohol. It offers a lighter experience without compromising on quality.

Famille Perrin - Les Crus
The Famille Perrin's range of wines enable one to discover the richness of the southern Rhône Valley and its diverse terroirs. With the same expertise and the same passion as for Château de Beaucastel, the family prides itself in bringing out the true character of each terroir. The “Famille Perrin” way makes each wine unique: using organic and biodynamic approaches, mastering the art of blending and bringing out the freshness of the Southern aromas.

Famille Perrin - Sélections Parcellaires
With the Famille Perrin range of wines, one can discover the richness and different terroirs of the southern Rhône Valley. With the same skills and the same passion as for Château de Beaucastel, the wines reveal the spirit of each terroir, its authenticity and its specificity. Each of these wines clearly show the Perrin Family signature: The organic and biodynamic approach, the art of blending and the fresh flavours of the South.

Domaine du Clos des Tourelles
This building has been inhabited forever and was the first construction outside the fortified walls of the village of Gigondas. Built on medieval foundations, this beautiful Provencal home was erected in the XVII century and now forms a beautiful estate with its two towers.
Formed of 10 hectares of Grenache (80%), Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre, the vineyard of Les Tourelles is located on limestone and sandy soils that are outstanding in the “Clos”, a locality planted in old Grenache vines directly next to the estate and the village of Gigondas.

Miraval
Veritable icon devoted to the Arts, Miraval is unrelenting in its quest for mastery of the art of creation and the art of craftsmanship. Each creation born from a passion for crafting the vines results in an unexpected masterpiece, carrying ever higher to qualities of a great rosé. Its ‘petal pink’ hue - expressing Miraval’s singular know-how and perfect mastery of the art of blending - reflects the values upheld by Miraval since its very beginnings: refinement, elegance and excellence. Inspired by colour, matter and light, Miraval is reinventing the codes and ways of appreciating rosé. The Art of Rosé at Miraval becomes ‘Art de Vivre’.

Château de Beaucastel
Château de Beaucastel is a magical place, surrounded by hills planted with vines, hundred-year-old olive trees and truffle oaks. Here nature is blooming, liberated and at ease. Ancient vines with knotted roots are nurtured in the traditional “gobelet” style in the soil typical of the region, laden with large round pebbles. When the Mistral blows - the legendary wind from the Alps - it whistles down the Rhône Valley cooling the vines and revealing aromas of Garrigue. It has the Southern accent of those who live here at one with the Mediterranean climate. It's on these ancestral soils, supporting the 13 grape varieties of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, that each new vintage of Beaucastel is born.
