Meet the owners
Gianfranco Chiarini is an Italian celebrity chef, food engineer, television personality and restaurateur. His career ranges from Michelin starred restaurants, cruise lines, deluxe hotels and resorts, restaurateur, consultancy chef, TV chef, chef to Presidents and Royalty, Research and Development Chef for the mass manufacturing food companies across Europe, Middle East and Africa, food technology applications chef, culinary teacher and book writer.

He is multilingual, speaking seven languages: Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. These varieties of languages have made him an intercultural chef, permitting him to cross over to many countries and culinary styles internationally.

In his earlier years, Gianfranco played music first as a rock singer in pubs and nightclubs opening for American rock bands. When he grew weary of this he became a singer with the award-winning Latin-pop music band Barranco Mix, which was widely known across the Spanish, and English-speaking countries in the Americas and Europe. However, in 1996 he retired from his music career and returned to pursuing his career as a chef.

Anna Chiarini is a distinguished chef, restaurateur and sommelier of Polish Italian heritage, recognized for her contributions to high-end hospitality, sustainable cuisine, and experiential dining. Together with her husband Gianfranco she is co-founder and owner of Chiarini Culinary Consultants and Dieci Boutique Restaurant.

Anna oversees front-of-house operations, curates innovative wine pairing programmes and ensures exceptional guest experiences rooted in terroir-driven ingredients and responsible hospitality practices. Her expertise extends across wine education, sommelier mastery, nutritional cuisine, and bespoke dining experiences.

She has been profiled internationally for her role in transforming a historic village school into one of Bulgaria’s most acclaimed boutique restaurants. Beyond restaurant operations, Anna is an accomplished author and thought leader in healthy and sustainable food. Her work spans healthy nutrition writing, beverage programme design, and culinary storytelling that bridges refined technique with ecological integrity.

Chaîne membership
In July 2026, the Conseil d’Administration (the International Board of the Chaîne) approved the appointment of Anna Chiarini as Bailli Délégué of the newly formed National Bailliage of Bulgaria.
