The Bailliage of Pays de Vaud was at the Hôtel de Ville de Crissier for a wonderful moment of gastronomic pleasure and conviviality!

It was on Wednesday, March 25th, that the Bailliage travelled to Crissier to enjoy a magnificent lunch.

The Hôtel de Ville de Crissier is a jewel of Swiss - and indeed global - gastronomy. In a unique distinction, it has held three Michelin stars and a 19/20 rating from Gault & Millau for over 30 years.

Following in the footsteps of his illustrious predecessors Freddy Girardet, Philippe Rochat, and Benoît Violier - Franck Giovannini took over the reins in 2016. Together with his kitchen brigade, he prepared for us dishes rich in colour and flavour, served with efficiency and warmth by his service team.

A Maître Rôtisseur of the Chaîne for many years, yet extremely busy with his professional life, he had not yet been inducted during a Grand Chapitre. It was therefore, as a surprise, that the Bailli Délégué of Switzerland, Thomas Kuhn, who is a Member of the Conseils d’Administration and Magistral, came to Crissier to finally induct him, accompanied by Conseiller Culinaire Franz Faeh and Dominique Koeppel, Bailli of Pays de Vaud. It was a moment of shared emotion!

Following this splendid meal, our Vice-Conseiller Gastronomique, Jean-Daniel Héritier, presented his glowing analysis of this moment of haute gastronomy and together with Dominique Koeppel, offered their well-deserved congratulations!
