Even in uncertain times the Bailliage of Lebanon led by Bailli Délégué Arlette Mabardi, who is a Member of the Conseil Magistral, organised a lunch to celebrate World Chaîne Day at Restaurant Sèves, Lebanon’s newest fine dining address in Dbayeh.

Dbayeh is a prominent coastal city in the Matn District of Mount Lebanon, situated between Beirut and Jounieh. It is a bustling commercial and residential hub known for its marina, upscale dining options. Matn is one of the most popular areas in Lebanon, with its rich scenery and its splendid view of the Mediterranean.

At Sèves the members and their guests experienced Chef Michael’s refined cuisine, beautifully balanced and inspired by Lebanese traditions. Each dish carried depth and passion with French technique meeting Lebanese flavours. After time spent in France and Switzerland including training at the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon, Michael has returned with a vision shaped by precision and quiet mastery.

The lunch featured a beautifully reimagined heritage menu, a refined composition of textures and freshness crafted to elevate every bite.
