Newly inducted as Bailli Délégué

" at the head of the latest national chapter of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs "

On June 13th at Château la Coste in Provence, during the programme for the 2026 International Grand Chapitre & AGM, Bastien Blanc was inducted as Bailli Délégué of the newly created National Bailliage of Pakistan.

His induction therefore to be at the head of the latest national chapter of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, will enable him to bring together the country’s most distinguished culinary professionals, restaurateurs and passionate gastronomes under one distinguished banner.

With active members across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, the Bailliage will be organising formal gastronomic dinners, culinary competitions and Induction Ceremonies throughout the year - each event a celebration of the finest traditions of the table.

The Bailliage of Pakistan is proud to represent this ancient tradition in South Asia, fostering a new generation of culinary excellence while honouring the bonds that connect us to gastronomes across the globe.

Bastien Blanc has served as Chief Executive Officer of Hashoo Hospitality Group since 2024. The group is Pakistan's largest hospitality and tourism organisation and ranks among the leading hospitality companies in Asia. Bringing more than 35 years of international experience, he has held senior leadership positions across Western and Eastern Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Prior to joining Hashoo Hospitality Group, he was Chief Executive Officer of TroKadero Hospitality Global. Earlier, as Managing Director for the Middle East at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), he established the company’s regional office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, overseeing a period of strong commercial expansion.

Bastien holds a dual MBA from Cornell University in New York and ESSEC Business School in Paris. Although his career ultimately led him into executive leadership rather than the kitchen, he continues to indulge his passion for cooking by preparing meals at home for family and friends.

In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Bastien is a member of the Champions of Change Pakistan Group, an initiative established in 2018 to promote gender equality, diversity and the empowerment of women. The group brings together influential leaders from a broad range of sectors, including hospitality, telecommunications, information technology, microfinance and sport, who are committed to advancing inclusive leadership practices both within their organisations and throughout Pakistani society.
