Celebrating World Chaîne Day was, once again, a perfect excuse to gather happy people at an exclusive premise, which this year was the Liberty Lykia hotel. With only a few months left until the 20th Anniversary celebration of the Bailliage of Antalya, the excitement was building.
As preparations are well underway, we could not resist the opportunity to gather on the west side of our long, magnificent coastline: World Chaîne Day in Fethiye.
Liberty Lykia Hotel won the TUI Global Hotel Award 2026 for “Best Hotel - Food & Gastronomy”. A distinction awarded for its culinary excellence based on guest feedback recognizing exceptional food quality and innovative menus.
Our expectations were therefore very high.
Chef Onur Nalcı did not disappoint us. He said “we crafted this menu as a work of art, reimagining Anatolia’s deep culinary memory through bold modern techniques. We approached every ingredient as if interpreting a rare piece of music. Our goal was to touch each element with grace, bringing its purest details to the plate. In this journey of earth, sea, and time, we invite you to an experience both familiar and boundary-pushing. A heritage created by nature and craft alike”.

Towards the end of the evening, Bailli Délégué Yves Léon (who is a Member of the Conseil Magistral), Bailli Nihat Tümkaya, and the local Bailliage officers warmly thanked the team at Liberty Lykia.
Nihat mentioned that he is looking forward to our next event in the Fethiye area. An outstanding celebration for our Grand Chapitre in Fethiye, Türkiye, in September 2026.
