Kenya - Message from the Bailli Délégué

Bailliage of Kenya
Mombasa, April 14, 2020

Celebrating 25 years on hold, meanwhile ..
" My National Council and I wish you .. good health "

Dear fellow members of the Chaîne

I hope that you all are taking great care of yourselves during this trying time of the coronavirus pandemic.

My National Council and I wish you and your family good health. Please stay safe and above all stay happy.

This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the Bailliage of Mombasa. However, with all activities postponed for the time being, please be assured that once the situation gets back to normal, we shall celebrate life as it should be and more than make up for lost time!

Meanwhile, as a goodwill gesture, the local Bailliage committee decided to present all Mombasa members with a gift food hamper.

Both in Nairobi and Mombasa our members are looking forward to celebrating World Chaîne Day on Saturday April 25th. It’s obviously going to have to be done differently this year.

Members are being encouraged to hold a private dinner/lunch, BBQ and the like on this day in their own homes. Whether they are formally attired (Black tie / Ball gowns) or very informally, it is important that the Chaîne ribbon is worn with pride … and photos shared on social media for all to see!

Vive la Chaîne!
