A nationwide online Zoom wine tasting of four Sevilen wines was the fourth event organised by the Bailliage.

Limited to 60 participants it was more than fully booked within a few hours!

Following discussions with Enis Güner, the owner of Sevilen and Vice-Échanson of the Bailliage of Izmir, it was agreed to increase capacity to 75 participants. All members who registered on the first day could be accepted much to their relief. After this the registration was closed.

Everyone received a package at their home address containing four full size bottles of wine, namely:
- 2020 Isabey Sauvignon Blanc
- 2020 Isabey Kalecik Karasi
- 2018 Plato Öküzgözü
- 2018 ‘900’ Cabernet Sauvignon

The meeting was opened by Bailli Délégué Yves Léon who welcomed all the members. Yves then gave the “floor” to Échanson Niso Adato in order to introduce Enis Güner.

Enis gave a very entertaining, informative presentation regarding both winery and the wines being tasted. These were tasted in the same order as above.

Questions were asked after the introduction and tasting of each of the wines, which made for quite a lively and interactive event.

After two and a half hours the Zoom meeting closed. All 75 members and guests could look back on a very enjoyable evening.
