Dear Members,

First, I would like to wish you, your family, and loved ones a very happy and prosperous new year, trusting that you are having a good beginning into 2022.

After having been postponed for two years due to COVID-19 pandemic circumstances, it is with great pleasure to announce that our 3rd Annual OMGD (Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs) International Grand Chapitre will take place from September 7th-11th in Budapest.

Our colleagues in Hungary, Ivan Novak, Bailli Délégué Honoraire and Member of the Conseil Magistral, together with Bailli Délégué Katalin Pinter and her National Board, are currently working on putting together the details for the Grand Chapitre programme.

The four days will include wine tastings, visits to vineyards and wineries, coupled with sightseeing and fine dining experiences at well-known Hungarian restaurants. You will also have the opportunity to be inducted as a member of Hungary’s well-known wine Confréries.

The detailed Grand Chapitre programme and registration form are expected to be sent out to all members sometime in March. For the sake of earlier planning, I kindly ask those who might be interested to participate in this unique event to save the date in their calendars.
