Savouring French regional wines
" held at Fouquet's fine dining brasserie at the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi "
This was our first Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OMGD) event of the year for 2022. It was held at Fouquet’s fine dining brasserie at the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi.
The OMGD lunch was all about savouring French regional wines from Alsace, Loire Valley, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhone Valley and Cognac paired with a traditional French brasserie-style tasting menu inspired by world-famous Chef Pierre Gagnaire.
Starting with a reception at Marta’s Bar, Champagne J de Telmont ‘Cuvée L.D’ Blanc de Blancs Brut was served accompanied by delicious canapés.
Lunch followed: a delightful ‘dégustation’ menu with flavoursome dishes which allowed the character of carefully-selected wines to shine through.
