Formerly the Bailliage of Calgary’s Vice-Échanson and Vice-Chancelier, Linda Robinson was promoted to Échanson of Canada in July 2023. A member of the Chaîne since 2014, Linda is an experienced wine and spirits professional. She plans to continue the mandate to grow the OMGD (Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs) in Canada.

Linda’s career serving Chaîne establishments as a fine wine and spirits agent for the past 30 years in Western Canada includes Calgary Ranchmen’s Club, The Post Hotel Relais et Châteaux, Calgary Petroleum Club, Hotel Arts and the iconic La Chaumière, to name a few! Chef Kenneth Titcomb, Grand Officier Maître Rôtisseur Honoraire, invited her to join the Chaîne. Kenneth was her first Chef as a student in the 1980’s at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa!

Linda celebrates 28 years with Pacific Wine and Spirits being its President since 2005. The business is an industry-leading distributor in Canada offering the most authentic, character driven brands since 1973.

With the mission that ‘authenticity matters’, Linda has spent her career building a portfolio of like-minded benchmark wine and spirit brands. “At Pacific, we invite everyone to taste and learn. - Bachelor of Commerce in Hotel and Food Administration from University of Guelph.
- extensive management training at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.
- appointed La Confraria do Vinho do Porto for significant contribution to education and promotion of Port.
- 2016 appointed to exclusive, international Keeper of The Quaich in recognition of outstanding commitment to Scotch Whisky industry.
- 2018 inducted into the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne.
- 2023 joined Women’s President Organization in Calgary.
- February 2024 invited by Commanderie de Bordeaux in Paris to join the Gala Dinner at the Palace of Versailles, a great privilege of her career!

In 2023, Pacific entered a three-year journey of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Team Training at an ISO level. Linda supports the upcoming generation of hospitality with leadership scholarships at the Southern & Northern Alberta Institutes of Technology. Pacific donates annually to the British Columbia Hospitality Foundation for hospitality members in need. Linda was instrumental in creating the first Chaîne Jeunes Sommelier Regional Competition in Alberta.

Married to husband Brent for 31 years they have two children. For relaxation Linda enjoys Rocky Mountain trail riding, attending show jumping events, gourmet cooking and quiet family time at an historic cottage in Ontario’s Thousand Islands!
