After the dignified moment that is Induction Ceremony of the Grand Chapitre when the time came for new and promoted members to be inducted by President Atallah, there followed the Reception and Gala Dinner in the banqueting hall at the Palais de la Bourse.

In the historic city centre of the city the Palais is a masterpiece of 18th century architecture, near the reflecting pool echoing the Garonne River. Created by the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry, everyone who sees it is impressed and charmed. And so it was for the 300+ members of the Chaîne and their guests who came together for the culmination of the Grand Chapitre programme.

The evening was in partnership with our Cognac-producing friend and partner ‘La Maison Camus’ which for more than 160 years has been a symbol that embodies aspiration and distinction. Founded in 1863 by the visionary Jean-Baptiste Camus, “La Grande Marque” has become the largest cognac house that proudly maintains its family ownership and independence. [Ed. Now with four generations of membership of the Chaîne!]

The 2024 International Grand Chapitre programme of events therefore closed in style with a spectacular evening in the emblematic place of Bordeaux.
