Restaurant Jou la Borda in La Massana hosted the official presentation of the prestigious international gastronomic association that is the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, in a Gala full of elegance, exceptional flavours and a great vision of the future for a National Bailliage in the Principality of Andorra.
Thanks to the passion and drive of Chargé de Missions Alexandra Verges over the months, at last a formal dinner could be held to relaunch the Bailliage.
The event brought together prominent personalities from the country’s business world, as well as international members of the Chaîne, in a Gala Dinner that captivated all attendees. In an emotional speech, Alexandra reviewed the rich history of the association, explained the main lines of the project and confirmed her desire to turn Andorra into a gastronomic and cultural benchmark.
With special thanks to the Pyrénées Group and the magazine Dona Secret for the support received, Alexandra opened the doors to a new ambitious and exciting stage. The menu, a tribute to chocolate in all its forms, was designed and executed with mastery by the Jou la Borda team and the renowned master chocolatier Lluc Crusellas, leaving an indelible mark on the palate of the diners.
Given her passion for cooking, wine and dark chocolate, but above all for creating community and generating positive impact, Alexandra Verges not only starts a gastronomic project, but also lights a flame of illusion for the most cosmopolitan and sophisticated Andorra.
The immediate plans involve consolidating a community of professional members from the world of gastronomy - such as chefs, sommeliers, hoteliers and restaurateurs - with enthusiasts passionate about haute cuisine and mountain cuisine, as well as the appreciation of great wines.
