Sixty years of culinary excellence
" the Bailliage of Israel has grown to its current size with over 120 members "
In 1965 an Israeli foodie and a good life enthusiast, Moris Benin, brought the Chaîne des Rotisseurs to Israel. At first it was a closed community for food lovers, the “Jet Set” people and some politicians.
Since those days, the Bailliage of Israel has grown to its current size with over 120 members, many of them professionals in the culinary, wine and spirits sectors.
Lately the Bailliage celebrated 60 years of gastronomic excellence, great culinary experiences and years of friendship in our annual Chapitre accompanied with the traditional Induction Ceremony officiated by Bailli Délégué Honoraire Tami Lancut-Leibovits in her capacity as a Member of the Conseil Magistral, in which we inducted the next generation of members. Among the new members were some legacy members, that is, sons and daughters of our senior members.
Celebrating our continuity, in this event we also honoured our two most senior members, Bat Sheva Kukia and Menachem Tiano, with awards their long term contribution to the Chaîne.
