On December 6th, the Al Thuraya Ballroom at the JW Marriott Kuwait set the scene for a truly special evening: the Bailliage of Kuwait’s 43rd Gala Induction Evening. This milestone celebration was made even more meaningful by the presence of the President of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Yam Atallah, whose attendance highlighted the international significance of the occasion.

The ballroom looked spectacular, beautifully decorated to reflect a garden theme that brought nature’s elegance indoors. Long tables reminiscent of medieval and Renaissance feasts stretched across the room, creating a wonderful blend of old-world charm and contemporary sophistication.

The evening's most memorable moment came during the President's inspiring speech. He shared the rich history of the Chaîne and spoke about what the organization truly represents: a love for fine cuisine and the pleasure of gathering around a beautiful table. His words of recognition for the Bailliage of Kuwait reflected the members’ commitment to promoting culinary passion and building a vibrant community of food lovers in the Emirate.

The Induction Ceremony itself was the heart of the evening with 25 new members warmly welcomed into the Chaîne family and 24 existing members honoured with promotions. As the oath was read, everyone joined together in this time-honoured tradition, creating a powerful sense of shared purpose.
