The Bailliage Provincial of Bali proudly hosted its annual Chapitre in December 2025, welcoming members and guests from Indonesia and abroad for a celebration of gastronomy, fellowship, and the traditions of the Chaîne.

The formal Induction Ceremony and Gala Dinner were held at Apéritif Restaurant, Ubud. At the ceremony new members were inducted and existing members promoted in a dignified occasion conducted in accordance with Chaîne protocol. Bailli Délégué Michael Burchett was the Inducting Officer in his capacity as a Member of the Conseil Magistral. The sword bearer was Member of the Conseil Magistral Norm Harrison who is Bailli Délégué of Australia.

The evening continued with an exceptional gala dinner showcasing refined culinary craftsmanship, attentive service, and harmonious wine pairings, reflecting the values of the “art of the table”.

The celebrations concluded the following day with a convivial Chapitre Brunch at Mason Elephant Park & Lodge, set in a unique natural environment. Guests enjoyed a relaxed gastronomic experience accompanied by a special piano performance by internationally acclaimed jazz pianist Joey Alexander, adding an artistic and cultural dimension to the occasion. The venue’s strong commitment to elephant welfare, environmental preservation, and biodiversity was also highlighted and warmly appreciated by the members.

The Chapitre was marked by a spirit of camaraderie, international friendship and shared passion for gastronomy, reinforcing the enduring values of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs within the vibrant setting of Bali.
