Wonderful and super fun, the first Bailliage of Mexico cruise sailed through the Caribbean from May 13th - 26th following the inauguration of the Norwegian Luna*. With the participation of 27 members of the Chaîne from Valle, Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, and Guadalajara, the group of confrères first enjoyed sunny days in Miami. Then seven wonderful days of cruising through the Caribbean, with exceptional weather and turquoise waters, visiting the Dominican Republic, the Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, and a private island owned by the cruise line.

The recently inaugurated cruise ship had 19 floors with all kinds of amenities, including several swimming pools, jacuzzis, spa, cinema, library, beauty salon, shops, jewellery stores, watch stores, casino, mini-golf, game tables, volleyball courts, basketball courts, pickleball, ping pong, water slides, children's play area, live concerts, incredible shows celebrating the career of Elton John, the Eagles band, Hiko, themed parties, dance, cooking and mixology classes, 14 different bars, 2 main restaurants, a gastronomic centre with Turkish, Asian, Chinese, Spanish, and Indian kitchens, and eight speciality restaurants with American, French, Italian, Japanese, Mediterranean, Mexican, Spanish and Thai cuisines.

On the second night of the cruise, all the members of the Chaine gathered in the main dining room to enjoy a Gala Dinner. At the end, we gave recognition along with an emotional message of congratulations to the captains, sommeliers, and the entire kitchen staff. The excursions to the cities and the beaches, as well as the themed parties, contests, and quizzes, were very interesting and fun. Each of the travellers was able to enjoy individual or group activities, making this trip an unforgettable experience.
