Held at the Four Seasons Hotel in the heart of Moscow

The 16th Gala Induction event, be it a Grand Chapitre or Chapitre, was held at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel in the heart of Moscow.
A modern replica of the legendary Hotel Moskva, which originally opened in 1935, the luxurious Four Seasons is thus connected to history yet displays stylish modernity. Conveniently located in the historic district the hotel boasts fine views of the Kremlin, Red Square, the colourful domes of St Basil's Cathedral and the State Duma (Lower House of the Russian Parliament).
The hotel is the perfect introduction to today's upscale Moscow, the ideal location therefore for our Chapitre which was organized in an excellent way by the Bailli of Moscow, Vladimir Efimov, and his team.
The Induction Ceremony, reception and Gala Dinner took place in the Dolgoruky Ballroom. Its panoramic windows overlooked Manezhnaya Square and the Kremlin, as well as giving a partial view of Red Square.
Members and guests attending the event included international visitors from Liechtenstein, Germany and France. Also present was my predecessor, Bailli Délégué Honoraire Thomas Noll who is currently a member of the Bailliage of Malta.
A delicious menu was prepared by Conseiller Culinaire Jonas Grip together with Christian De Nadai, Executive Sous Chef of the Four Seasons and his team. Excellent wines complemented the courses.
It was a most enjoyable evening with excellent background music provided by a rock-and-roll band.
Vive la Chaine!
