Celebration of Portuguese gastronomy
" The exceptional flavours were further enhanced by the restaurant's warm, inviting atmosphere "
The enchanting town of Sintra recently played host to a memorable dining experience. Our Bailliage and the Restaurante Sabores do Mercado joined forces to celebrate the rich flavours of Portuguese cuisine.
This collaboration was set in motion when Tatiana Solodovnicova (Vice-Chargée de Presse from Kwazulu Natal, South Africa) expressed her desire to experience a special dinner that paid homage to Portuguese gastronomy.
Guests were invited to indulge in a delectable dinner curated by Manager Alex Gavinha and his talented team of chefs: Israel Fernandes, Cleber Varela, and Pedro Bório. The carefully crafted menu featured a harmonious blend of traditional Portuguese dishes. Each was meticulously prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and paired with complementary wines.
