Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition 2019

Bailliage of Canada
Calgary, September 20, 2019

International Final concurrent with the Grand Chapitre of Canada
" the second time Canada has been selected to host "

Bailli Délégué David Tetrault, the National Officers of the Bailliage of Canada, together with Baillis Provinciaux of the Prairies, Fritz Painsi and Mark Wilson, and Toni-Marie Ion-Brown, Bailli of Alberta in Calgary, are looking forward to welcoming the Chaîne world to Calgary for the 2019 International Final of the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition.

Not only as Bailli Délégué, but especially in my role as Chair of the International Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition Committee, it will be my pleasure to welcome the competitors, members and their guests for the 43rd International Final within a Grand Chapitre of the Bailliage of Canada.

In the history of the international competition, this is only the second time Canada has been selected to host. Our organizing committee has a spectacular programme well worthy of this honour.

Forty-three years from the inception of the international competition, the competitors still enjoy the hospitality of the host Bailliage while having the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a competitive environment with their peers.

This is a challenging competition that helps the development of the young chefs by showcasing their talents and creativity in an international arena.

Outside of the intense moments that come with competing, the youngsters will however have an excellent week of tours and educational experiences.

Vive la Chaîne!
