India Gala Sundowner

Bailliage of India
Bengaluru, March 24, 2019

Luxury dining for a cause
" Delicious small plates were on offer for a gourmet grazing experience "

The Bailliage’s “Gala Luxury Sundowner” has become an annual event eagerly anticipated by the city’s gourmets. The third edition kicked off at sundown showcasing 18 restaurants and 10 top beverage companies including top wine brands and India’s famous single malt producers.

The green lawns of Botania at the ITC Gardenia were decked with pop-up stalls showcasing the best restaurants - both group and stand-alone. Delicious small plates were on offer for a gourmet grazing experience all evening. The participants, including many of the Bailliage’s leading Professional members, not only offered beautifully-curated mini menus across multiple cuisines, but also generously offered hampers and gifts for a series of lucky draws.

The cherry on the cake of this super-successful fun, fine dining event was the funds collected by entry tickets sold which went to support a deserving student at Christ University’s School of Hotel Management. This was a commitment made by the Bailliage of India a couple of years ago. We are proud that the young student is now in his second year of hotel management studies and all set to finish and join the ranks of the Chaîne’s professional hoteliers.

Among our food partners were ITC Windsor, Fabelle Fine Chocolates, The Leela Palace Bangalore, The Conrad Bangalore, The Lalit Ashok Bangalore, Novotel/Ibis, The Park Bangalore, Aloft, Whitefield, 1Q1, Fava, Sanchez, Sriracha, Amandé Patisserie, Christ University Department of Hotel Management, AIMS, Bridor de France, Baba da Dhaba.
