Gala evening at the InterContinental Tokyo Bay
" wines included magnums of Clos de Vougeot "
The Bailliage’s 23rd Annual Gala Induction Evening was held at the InterContinental Tokyo Bay. It was our first event of 2020.
We were honoured to have Klaus Tritschler, Member of the Conseil d’Administration, who came from Germany to join this important event. During the Induction Ceremony over which he presided, 37 members were inducted and received promotions.
The notable highlight was the inaugural Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OMGD) event which was held for the first time in Japan where 34 new members were inducted.
This was also officiated by Klaus Tritschler in conjunction with Masaharu Oka, who, in his capacity as Échanson, is head of the OMGD in Japan.
The elegant gala dinner was prepared by Officier Maître Rôtisseur Michiya Nakaune, Chef of Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay.
