To launch the year's programme with a sparkle, our Bailliage's first dinner of the year was 'Valentine Bubbles 2021' at Aloft Hotel. Four excellent champagnes that accompanied our dinner provided the bubbles.

It was a pleasure as always to welcome many members and guests from Abu Dhabi and Dubai for this occasion.

Aloft Hotel is Al Ain's upbeat, popular destination. It was their first time to host a full Chaîne dinner. The venue's Olive Tree all-day dining restaurant was transformed into a stylish romantic setting.

Sous Chef Mohammad Najeh exceeded all expectations with his skills and enthusiasm. He and his team delivered an impressive romantic-themed six-course menu. Outlets Manager Khaled Ahmad was on hand throughout to ensure his service crew looked after us with friendly efficiency.

After a reception with Champagne Mumm Cordon Rouge Brut Rosé, accompanied by a selection of tasty canapés, the dinner menu that we enjoyed was:
