Officier Lisa Leung is an enthusiastic, long-time member of the Bailliage of China. She was introduced to the Chaîne by Volkmar Ruebel in 2004. She observed, “Having attended several incredible events I was impressed by the dining experiences. I quickly realised that the Chaîne could fulfil my passion for culinary pleasures.”

Born and raised in Hong Kong SAR China, Lisa was educated at Maryknoll Convent School which led to gaining a Bachelor in Commercial Science degree from Queen Mary College, University of London.

Beginning her career with Shangri-La Hotel Group management positions in the hotel and real estate industries followed:
- Director of Marketing and Business Development (China) at Hilton International
- Regional Director Marketing (East China) with Hong Kong New World International
- General Manager Marketing (China) at Capitaland China (Holdings) Ltd

Currently Lisa is Partner/Executive Director with Super City Group of Companies. Established in 1993, Super City is now recognized as one of the leading real estate brokerage companies in China. More than 1,000 local and expatriate multi-lingual employees are in 10 major cities. Lisa also belongs to several associations and has held committee positions too.

Lisa shared with the Chaîne News Online that besides being an enthusiast for fine dining, she is also a fond lover of traditional Chinese performing arts. In 2006 she founded the Capitaland Art Foundation which aims to support and develop young talent in traditional Chinese cultural performances such as Kun Opera and Shanghai comedy.

Do you enjoy the Chaîne and what do you like in particular?
Very much as the events are always pleasant surprises. Each dining experience establishes new standards of excellence. You can always find something new in the menu, the wine pairings, the venue set up. The different event themes take us on interesting gastronomic journeys which one cherishes.

Are you aware of Chaîne’s global community? Are you planning to make use of this global family?
Certainly! I look forward to benefitting from the Chaîne’s global network once we can travel again. I would love to participate in events around the world, especially in Paris.

What would you like to say to other members of the global Chaîne family?
The Chaîne community is a network for culinary arts. At events, although different in other parts of the world, we share the same passion. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome members around the world to come and join in our many events around China. To experience for themselves, a unique culinary journey integrating local specialities and worldwide selections. To be part of wonderful moments with a group of amazing members in China who share the same passion as our global members.
