Germany - Chapeau la Vache

French flair in Bremen
" The name Chapeau la Vache stands for the French way of life "

The location is the Villa Rocholl, situated next to the Bremen Registry Office, which was extensively and lovingly restored and rebuilt in 2019. The listed building also houses the French Honorary Consulate.

Chapeau la Vache is based on the casual style of French brasseries. Maître Rôtisseur Jens Kommerau, Head Chef / Partner, describes the concept as “fresh, product-oriented cuisine that is fun, paired with excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere”.

Decorated with originals from the “Oh la vache” photo series by the famous French photographer Jean Baptiste Mondino, the guest areas at Chapeau la Vache are stylish and informal.

The name Chapeau la Vache stands for the French way of life, but with a self-deprecating wink, as both terms have an ambiguity in French.

In the adjoining bar, the Chapeau la Vache team invites you to an aperitif, sophisticated cocktails and small dishes from 6pm.
