The Republic of Côte d'Ivoire is our beloved country on the southern coast of West Africa.

Yamoussoukro, in the centre of the country is the political capital while the largest city and economic centre is the port city of Abidjan.

The Côte d’Ivoire borders Guinea to the northwest, Liberia to the west, Mali to the northwest, Burkina Faso to the northeast and Ghana to the east. Its official language is French but indigenous languages are also widely used.

The programme for our Grand Chapitre is:

Friday, May 27th
- Visit of the historic part of Abidjan including lunch
- 19h00 Evening reception of all participants by Bailli Délégué Serge Roux (who is a Member of the Conseil Magistral) and his National Officers

Saturday, May 28th
- 10h00 Induction ceremony at which, representing President Atallah, Grand Argentier Benoît Fragnière will be our Inducting Officer
- 13h30 Lunch for the newly-inducted members
- 20h00 Gala Dinner

Sunday, May 29th
12h00 Leisurely lakeside lunch on the Île de Boulay
