What would it be like to visit La Boqueria markets stalls in Barcelona or San Miguel in Madrid?
The experience in fact came to us! Stuko Hall, operated by our member Maître Restaurateur Niv Raz-Haim, set the scene perfectly. Painted in warm, festive vibrant red and gold colours, flags and flowers decorating tables, a DJ played Spanish music throughout the evening.
Antonio Millan, Deputy Ambassador of Spain to Israel joined us as an honoured guest.
Welcomed with generous glasses of warm sangria and a selection of cocktails we caught up and chatted in the festive atmosphere.
The accompanying Spanish wines, presented by Yitzhak Molcho, came from Vina Memorias winery based in the hills around Valencia.

Premium burger and chorizos stand
Quality burgers and chorizos with truffle aioli, whiskey barbecue sauce, peppered Dijon mustard cream sauce, green spicy chipotle aioli and salads.
Fish Market station
Red tuna sashimi; Norwegian salmon sashimi; Amoy croaker sashimi; Norwegian salmon tartare; Tuna tartare.
Mini crispy tacos, tortillas on hot plancha chili con carne, grilled chipotle with Mexico puya chili and aioli, spicy tomato salad, Romanesco salad, spicy red salsa, guacamole
Veal asado cooked on the bone in beef and vegetable broth with sofrito-flavoured potato, pumpkin, chestnut, red onion, white cabbage, sweet potato circles roasted in a hot oven with aromatic spices, raw tahini and date honey.
Cooking Spain’s signature dish was presided over by our Conseiller Culinaire, Chef Eyal Lavi.
Churros and fresh fruit.
A “Flamenco for Fiesta” performance celebrated music and dance. Rhythm and atmosphere were created by Yehuda “Shuki” Shweiki on guitar and vocals. Inbal Cohen Malka swept us up in an emotional, authentic flamenco dance. We enthusiastically joined in with her.
