Two Bailliages come together with their hearts
" a memorable evening of fun was had by all "
World Chaîne Day in Seattle was celebrated at L’Oursin with a true Pacific Northwest Provincial event. Bailli Harry Reifschneider and Bailliage of Boise (Idaho) members hosted their “Spring Fling” in Seattle.
In collaboration with Alex Milkie, Bailli of Seattle, together with the presence of Scott Limstrom, Bailli Honoraire of Alaska, and support from Robert Cugini, Bailli Provincial of Pacific Northwest, a memorable evening of fun was had by all.
We were honoured to have Bailli Délégué Bertrand de Boutray, Member of the Conseils d’Administration and Magistral, join us for this special evening. It was a real pleasure to meet many new friends from Boise and great to see so many Seattle members too.
On arrival bartenders made speciality cocktails and servers came round with delicious hors d’oeuvres. To accompany an outstanding menu Sommelier Kathryn Olson and her partner Taber Turpin of Vin2u paired the wines perfectly.
Partway through Messrs de Boutray, Cugini, Reifschneider and Milkie presented L’Oursin’s staff with chef, server, and sommelier pins. Messrs de Boutray and Cugini presented Mr. Overman and Chef Proville with a special certificate to commemorate the evening. Baillis Reifschenieder and Milkie gave L’Oursin a special plate to honour their hard work in creating such a memorable event.
The magical evening ended and we departed with promises to visit Boise and return to Seattle. We “came with our hearts” and left with new friendships, full tummies and happy thoughts. Another World Chaîne Day celebration completed, and one which we will never forget!
