A dynamic husband and wife duo, exceptional culinary chefs/entrepreneurs are both members of the Bailliage of Naples in Florida. The husband, Maître Rôtisseur Fabrizo Aielli, is co-owner of Aielli Group with his wife, Ingrid Aielli, Vice-Conseiller Culinaire of the Bailliage of Naples.

Fabrizo moved to the United States with Ingrid in 1992, settling in Washington D.C. He and Ingrid opened their first restaurant Goldoni in 1995, and then Osteria Goldoni in 1998. A year later they opened Teatro Goldoni, which became one of the top twenty restaurants in Washington DC., and a recipient of the prestigious AAA Five Diamond Award.

In 2007 he was invited to cook at the Naples Winter Festival and fell in love with the city. Sea Salt was opened the following year. Fabrizo and Ingrid also own Barbatella, a more casual Italian trattoria.

In 2015 Fabrizo and Ingrid opened another Sea Salt in St Petersburg, Florida. In 2018 they added Dorona to their restaurant portfolio, which is a modern twist on Italian classics. In 2019, Chef Aielli added another one to the group of restaurants, Grappino, which features his Venetian roots and over 100 Grappa varieties. They now split their time between St. Petersburg and Naples.

Fabrizo was born in Venice, Italy, and started working in the kitchen at age 14. He then moved around to work at some of the best restaurants and hotels in the world, and became the Executive Chef of Taverna la Fenice, the famous restaurant next to Venice’s opera house.

Ingrid is the force behind the corporate brand. As co-owner of the restaurant group, she is responsible for business operations and marketing, and a strong supporter of philanthropy of the community and many local charities.

In November 2023, the new Bailli of Naples, Russell G. Smith II and his local Bailliage officers chose Sea Salt to kick off their slate of six outstanding chefs from popular restaurants. Among the Naples members, many international members were also in attendance. The camaraderie, good food and good wine were much in evidence.
