Dear Chaîne members

The host town of Koksijde is located on the North Sea coast in the southwest of the Flemish province of West Flanders. Our Chapitre will take place on Friday 14 and Saturday, June 15, based at the Soll Cress Hotel.

The programme is as follows:

Friday, June 14
18h00: AGM of the Bailliage of Belgium (members only)
19h30: Welcoming dinner (Apero of the house , 3-courses plus coffee, wine, Bru water.

Dinner is priced at 69 euro per person.

Saturday, June 15

Afternoon
12h30: Departure from the hotel
13h00: Arrival at the shrimp fishermen’s farm
13h15: Departure by horse-drawn carriage to the beach

Guided demonstration of shrimp fishing by horse on the beach. After which it’s back to the farm where the shrimps are cooked, we taste the horse fisherman beer and enjoy a shrimp bisque. Additionally, there will be a shrimp-peeling demonstration by the fishermen’s wives.

17h00: Arrive back at the hotel

The cost of this excursion is 58 euro per person.
