For this year’s autumn Grand Chapitre of the Bailliage of Switzerland, we are travelling to Sion in the Valais, featuring the famous silhouette of Tourbillon Castle and the Basilica of Valeria.

The Basilica is the church on the southern of the two castle hills. It is home to one of the oldest playable organs in the world, dating from the 15th century. Enjoy the ascent to these two hills and the view up and down the valley, along the River Rhône, of the many orchards and vineyards surrounded by steep rock faces and majestic mountains!

We are looking forward to taste local wines, the famous raclette (melted cheese) and other specialities of this lovely region.
