" Much to their delight, each guest was presented with a mini world map suitcase filled with sweets "
The Bailliage of Lebanon celebrated this year’s World Chaîne Day at the Hotel Kempinski in Beirut.
The lunch was prepared by Executive Chef Patrick Khoueiry and his brigade.
The menu consisted of several dishes representing “tastes of the world” …
- Sushi for Japan
- Pasta station for Italy
- Quesadillas for Mexico
- Fattoush for Jordan
- Empanadas for Spain
- Beef Strogonoff for Russia
- Cashew nut chicken for China

Lebanese red, rosé and white wine was served.
Each culinary speciality was accompanied by its respective flag. Balloons with the world map decorated the venue. Spring flowers and world globes were on the tables.
Much to their delight, each guest was presented with a mini world map suitcase filled with sweets.
