Since May 2024, the young Kenzo Li has been Chef and owner of the Restaurant Abstrait in Namur.

He was the Runner-up in the 2021 International Final of the Chaîne’s Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competiton which was held at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France

In the kaleidoscope of gastronomy, Kenzo says he sees his path as a culinary alchemist, fusing styles - French cuisine on one side, the exotic flavours of the Orient on the other.

His restaurant aspires to be “simple” in its form, intimate and close to the kitchen; it is a sensory journey where the borders of continents dissolve into bowls and plates.

Each dish he creates is infused with philosophy, a philosophy that celebrates the harmony of contrasts. With every bite, he strives to convey a story. His own, that of his encounters, which he will share with you.

His cuisine is a dialogue between classical techniques, inherited from the chefs who inspired him, from French cooking and the subtle aromas and enchanting spices of Asia. It is a marriage of the rigour of tradition and that little twist that is uniquely his. Every ingredient is carefully chosen for its quality and freshness. Each dish is meticulously crafted with one single goal: the pleasure of the diners.
